West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd died. Sen. Robert Byrd died at the age of 92, after being hospitalized in serious condition for heat exhaustion and severe dehydration.
Jesse Jacobs, a family spokesman, said Byrd died peacefully at about 3 a.m. at Inova Hospital in Fairfax, Va.
