A bus exploded along EDSA corner Buendia in Makati City yesterday at around 2pm and killed 5 including a call center agent and 17 were injured. The explosion was so powerful and destroyed the vehicle's windshields.
According to reports, bombers used an 81-millimeter mortar and a cell phone as a detonator.
Investigators said that it is not yet determine whether the perpetrators was a plain terrorists or was it a political tactic of distraction.
