MANILA, Philippines -- More than P600 million worth of fake “signature” watches were seized by elements of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in a recent, twin raid in the two shopping malls in Binondo, Manila, the bureau reported Friday.
Bureau operatives raided the stalls occupied by Snapen Trading, B&S Fashion and Accessories, and Anluba General Merchandise inside 999 Shopping Mall, at Soler Street in Binondo, Manila and confiscated several pieces of fake Chanel, Omega and Bulgari watches.
The NBI agents also raided the stalls used by Veranda Queen Silver, R.C. Buenavista General Merchandise, R.R. Fetalco Gen. Merchandise and Reviro General Merchandise, which were all located inside the 168 Shopping Mall along Sta. Elena Street also in Binondo.
