Virginia Earthquake Rattled the East Coast of United States

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Virginia rattled the East Coast of the United States including New York City and Wshington DC.

The City Hall in New York was evacuated after a tremor was felt as well as some buildings in Manhattan.


The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck about a half mile beneath the surface. Trembling was felt at the White House all throughout the East Coast of United States. There were no immediate reports of damage.
