Bradley: ‘I will dominate Pacquiao’

With each passing day, the confidence level of Timothy Bradley continues to grow.

Speaking to the online edition of The Ring magazine, Bradley boasted that he has Manny Pacquiao all figured out and that he will prove on June 9 that he is not all talk.

Less than three weeks before Pacquiao defends his mythical title of pound-for-pound king at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Bradley said he believes that he has the style to befuddle the Filipino great.

“I can deal with any southpaw,” Bradley said, noting that he has learned how to deal with their lefty stance after beating Devon Alexander and Joel Casamayor.

“I’m a lot more familiar with the southpaw stance…I’m just a lot better with that now at competing and defeating southpaws. It’s not a big deal anymore. You know, switching up and having to face a southpaw can be tricky. But it’s just like riding a bike to me, now.”

Bradley, unbeaten in 28 fights with 12 knockouts, is in the final two weeks of training in Palm Springs, California, and he is eager to get his hands on Pacquiao.

Since has has mastered Pacquiao’s moves, Bradley said he plans to “dominate” him en route to scoring the biggest win of his career.

Pacquiao, meanwhile, sparred ten full rounds at the Wild Card in Hollywood on Tuesday and should begin tapering off towards the end of this week.

Trainer Freddie Roach is upbeat that Pacquiao will make Bradley eat his words.

Roach, who has been calling the shots in Pacquiao’s corner since mid-2001, said Pacquiao’s main weapons against Bradley are “experience, speed and power.”
