Makati Shangri-La, Manila presents guests the traditional scents, sights and sounds of Italy as the hotel celebrates an Italian festival from June 21 to 29, 2012.
Guests may experience an authentic Italian feast with an Italian High Tea to be served at the Lobby Lounge in the afternoons from 3 to 6 p.m. at Php 680+++, a special Italian à la carte menu in Red restaurant for lunch and dinner, and an Italian buffet spread at Circles Event Café for lunch and dinner.
Lovers of Italian cuisine may also join a cooking class conducted by Italian guest chef Paolo Bodon on June 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in Red restaurant. Chef Paolo, who has had plenty of culinary experience in various luxury hotels and establishments in Italy, is coming to Manila to share his culinary expertise on one of the world’s most loved cuisines. For Php 2,000 net, guests may learn the basics of Chef Paolo’s cuisine, followed by a four-course lunch.
