BPO building to rise in Bonifacio Global City
MANILA, Philippines - Another building dedicated to companies engaged in business process outsourcing (BPO) will soon rise in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Fort Bonifacio Development Corp., which owns, develops and manages Bonifacio Global City, broke ground for the BGC Stopover Pavilion, a mixed-use development which includes a 16-level premium grade BPO tower and a retail complex.
The BGC Stopover Pavilion is located on 31st corner 2nd Avenue. This is the second BGC-owned BPO tower after Bonifacio One Technology Tower on 31st Street corner Rizal Drive .
The new building, which will have a gross leasable area of 35,000 square meters, caters to the unique requirements of IT and BPO offices. It will have utilities for 24/7 operations, multiple data and telecommunications service providers, 100 percent back-up power, structurally-reinforced areas to accommodate data rooms, and fully integrated security and access control systems.
There will also be a retail area with gross leasable area of 7,000 square meters and a two-level basement parking.
BGC said the retail area will be fully operational by 2014, and the office area by 2015.
