Clippers withstand Durant's 42 points to beat Thunder

MANILA, Philippines – The Los Angeles Clippers survived an offensive explosion from NBA scoring leader Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder to come out victorious in a match-up of Western Conference giants.

Jamal Crawford scored 36 points to offset Durant’s 42 markers as the visiting Clippers defeated the Thunder in Oklahoma City, 125-117.

Crawford nailed the clutch shots for the Clippers in the end game, including a three-pointer and a floater after the home team had crept their way back from a 15-point third quarter deficit.

The loss dropped the Thunder to 43-14 on the season, allowing the Indiana Pacers to regain the best record in the NBA. -- Report from ANC.
