Nets outlast Mavericks in overtime
Joe Johnson once again came through in the clutch as the Brooklyn Nets outlasted the Dallas Mavericks in overtime, 107-104.
Johnson scored 22 points, including a lay-up that forced the extra session, as well as the go-ahead three-pointer in overtime.
Monta Ellis led Dallas with 32 points, but missed a three-pointer at the buzzer that could have sent the game into a second overtime period.
The loss dropped the Mavericks to the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
They are now just half a game ahead of the Phoenix Suns for the last playoff spot. -- Report from ANC.
