On Instagram, Concepcion shared a photo of her and Avelino posing in the kitchen.
The actress said she was happy that she got to cook for Avelino that day.
"Safe flight home. It made my heart happy to cook for you that day & to see you enjoying the little things, even just for a while. Thank you. For everything,” she wrote as the photo's accompanying caption.
Last November, Avelino admitted on national television that he and Concepcion are dating. He has been a determined suitor of the actress since then.
Concepcion, who is in New York for a short course on acting, said she admires Avelino for continuously exerting effort to win her heart even if they are miles apart.
"Paulo and I are very, very good friends, isa talaga siya sa mga best friends na meron ako. But I'm not leaving it at best friend. Siyempre at this point, tinitignan ko rin kung baka naman okay siya maging boyfriend. Ayaw ko na ng heartbreak," she said.
