Binay said she is unaffected by all the bashing she received and even plans to be more adventurous next time.
"Di ba sa fashion naman, sometimes you need to be more adventurous?" Binay said. "Kumabaga abangan ang susunod na outfit."
Binay said she did not regret wearing the gown made by Randy Ortiz and plans to still collaborate with the fashion designer for her next SONA outfit.
"Ako nga, the more I want to experiment e. ‘Di ba may saying na sometimes you have to push the limit," she said.
"Unang-una, napaka-comfortable ng damit. Hindi siya mabigat tapos presko siya. Plus, I think isang factor din… ‘yung katawan ko hindi naman ganoon talaga kapayat ‘di ba?"
Asked if she had a message to her bashers, Binay said, "Wala. Bring it on."
Binay only laughed at the meme depicting her as Princess Fiona from the movie Shrek and said that it has become her favorite.
She is glad that the bashing did not affect her children, saying that one of them even suggested that she takes after another cartoon character.
"Kahapon nanood kami ng TV ng anak ko, tapos I mentioned ang favorite meme ko ‘yung si Princess Fiona. Tapos hirit ‘yung anak ko, ‘Mom, I like Bellossom better.’ Sabi niyang ganoon sa akin. Sabi ko, ‘Why?’ ‘Because she’s the strongest Pokemon. Tapos she turns pa into a princess.’ Sabi ko ‘A ganoon ba?’ So ang favorite ko na ngayon si Bellossom," she said.
"As a mother, hindi ko ma-describe ang feeling. It’s an assurance on my part na kahit anong bashing ‘yung gawin sa akin, as a mother ang concern ko ‘yung how will my kids take all of it, from now hanggang matapos ‘yung term ko. And ‘yung mga ganung comment na nakukuha ko sa kanila, assures me na they will survive all the bashing na matatanggap ko."
Binay said she won’t even respond to criticisms, saying she doesn’t have the time.
“May personality din ako na NR, no reaction,” she said.
“Parang iisipin ko pa ba ang isasagot ko? Mas marami akong dapat isipin na mas mahahalagang bagay kaysa doon sa mga isasagot ko sa kanila.”
