Yamaha unveils new dual sport bikes


MANILA, Philippines -- Yamaha Philippines has officially unveiled the XTZ 125 and Serow 250, both dual sports bikes that boast great rides on city roads and on rough terrain.

First showcased at the Yamaha International Show last month, both the XTZ 125 and Serow 250, were tested by the motorcycling media during the Off-Road Media Day last week.

Yamaha describes the XTZ 125 as a lightweight, high performance bike that features smooth drivability, and reliability. It has an 11-liter fuel capacity and is optimized for going off road with its long suspension travel and adjustable rear shock.

The Serow 250, on the other hand, features excellent maneuverability suited for mountain trails. The maximum turning angle of the bike’s handlebar is 51 degrees. It features a short wheelbase (1,360 mm) and a tight turning radius.

Serow also boasts of a powerful torque and a fuel-injected engine. It has a fuel capacity of 9.8 liters.
