Pacquiao praying for 'uneducated' Mayweather

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino ring legend Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is shrugging off the social media barbs of unbeaten rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. and is even praying for the American superstar.

On his Twitter account, Pacquiao hit out at Mayweather after the American admitted that segments of his Showtime reality TV series "All Access" were scripted.

"(Floyd Mayweather's) testimony to the (Nevada) Commission on All Access' authenticity tells me everything I need to know about his desire to fight me," Pacquiao tweeted.

Mayweather's responded by posting a series of pictures of Pacquiao's knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, with the caption: "Miss PacMan is broke and desperate for a pay day. Your pay-per-view numbers are a joke."

During the dedication of his youngest son Israel, Pacquiao could not escape questions regarding Mayweather's "bashing" of him.

"Alam mo, hindi naman ako nagagalit sa kanya," he said. "Naawa pa ako sa kanya, because he acts like an uneducated person."

"Pangit, pero naawa ako and I'm praying for him," Pacquiao added. "Kailangan din na ituro sa kanya na may Panginoon."

Asked about a potential mega-fight against Mayweather, Pacquiao said it was in God's hands.

"Depende, depende. If it's in God's will, matutuloy 'yan," he said.
