Created by Media Molecule and currently being developed by Sumo Digital, Little Big Planet is a game where one can bring his own imagination to life with the powerful customization tools and share his creation with other players from around the world.

As of writing, the puzzle-platformer and its sequel currently boasts a score of 95/100 and 91/100, respectively, on review aggregator website Metacritc. The latter's score is based off 86 different reviews from several gaming websites.

What's new?

Little Big Planet 3 will see the return of series' mascot Sackboy, along with three other new characters -- Toggle, OddSock and Swoop -- and a main antagonist named Newton, voiced by "House" star Hugh Laurie.

The game will still be narrated by comedian and actor Stephen Fry.

One of the biggest change in the series is that Little Big Planet 3 will allow creators to use 16 playable layers of depth as opposed to the usual three, which basically means more space to create even more massive and engaging levels.

Little Big Planet 3 will introduce over 70 new tools, in addition to all of those available in the game's predecessors.
