VIRAL: Food experts eat McDonald's and believe it's organic

MANILA – A viral video shows experts at a food convention in Netherlands showering praise on what they thought were organic fast food items, which turned out to be McDonald’s.

Two hosts from LifeHuntersTV served McDonald’s items hors d’oeuvre-style at the food convention and said it came from their organic fast food restaurant.

The so-called experts had sophisticated descriptions of McDonald’s chicken nuggets, Filet-O-Fish and fruit packs.

“It’s nice and firm, with a good bite,” one of them said.

“It rolls around the tongue nicely. If it were wine, I’d say it’s fine,” another said, referring to the cut-up Filet-O-Fish.

When asked to compare the dishes to McDonald’s, one “expert” said: “It’s definitely a lot tastier than McDonald’s. You can just tell this is a lot more pure.”

Another added: “I like it. It’s pure. It’s just a pure, organic product and that makes it very tasty.”

Reacting to the comments, the two hosts concluded that “if you tell people that something is organic, they’ll automatically believe it’s organic.”

The video, which can be viewed with English subtitles, has gained over 729,000 on YouTube since it was uploaded on October 28.
