Huge third quarter pushes Raptors past Magic

Guard DeMar DeRozan scored 13 of his game-high 26 points in a big third quarter as Toronto beat Orlando for the eighth successive time.

The Raptors scored 38 points in the decisive third quarter, turning a three-point halftime deficit into an 87-78 lead.

Point guard Kyle Lowry had 21 points and five assists for the Raptors, whose five starters all scored in double figures.

Guard Evan Fournier led Orlando with 18 points while rookie guard Elfrid Payton had 16 points and nine assists.

Mavericks 109, Pelicans 104

Forward Chandler Parsons scored a team-high 20 points, while five others scored in double figures for Dallas.

Forward Dirk Nowitzki and guard Monta Ellis each scored 17, and forward Brandan Wright and guard Devin Harris had 12 apiece.

Forward Anthony Davis led New Orleans with 31 points and 15 rebounds, point guard Jrue Holiday scored 24 points and forward Tyreke Evans had 19 of his 22 points in the second half.
