Quoting rapper Maria Silorio’s Facebook post, entertainment site Pep reported on Sunday that Aguilar was physically abused by her live-in partner Ali when she tried to end their relationship on Saturday.
“My Bestfriend Maegan Comet Aguilar received this nasty beating as a ‘parting gift’ from her live-in Partner when she firmly tried to end there relationship today. Ali's an alcoholic that often reaches a violent black out state & beats up my friend & threatens her life,” Silorio said, as quoted by Pep.
Furthermore, Silorio said, unedited: "Hindi daw po agad2 nagpa blotter or nagsumbong c ate maegan sa brgy o pulis dahil ayaw nya pong lumabas itong parte ng buhay nya sa publiko. Pero ito pong huling insidente ay nagdulot po talaga ng kritikal na kalagayan sa kanya.”
According to Silorio, Aguilar’s right arm seems to be dislocated and she has a lot of bruises amd contusion at her back and hips.
Aguilar has yet to issue her statement regarding the matter.
Aguilar is the daughter of OPM icon Freddie Aguilar. She made headlines months back when she criticized her father’s marriage to a minor.
