Solaire to open Sky Tower this weekend


MANILA, Philippines - Solaire Resort and Casino is set to open new expanded leisure facilities at Sky Tower this weekend.

Sky Tower is the Phase 1 expansion of Solaire, with a 312 all-suite hotel, additional VIP gaming areas, a theater and exclusive Chinese restaurant and whisky and cigar bar for VIP gamers.

“The thrill at Solaire continues with the opening of Sky Tower. Yet again, we are on track and on spec with this opening – all in all only 617 days since Solaire’s inaugural in March," Enrique K. Razon Jr., Bloomberry Resorts chairman, said.

Bloomberry's flagship project, the $1.2 billion Solaire, was the first to open in Pagcor's Entertainment City last year.

Thomas Arasi, BRC president and chief operating officer, said Sky Tower brings Solaire to the "very top tier of world-class integrated resorts."

The 17-storey five-star hotel features suites from 124 square meters to as large as 936 square meters.

Sky Tower also has new gaming facilities which include 10 gaming salons with 66 VIP gaming tables and 223 slot machines.

VIP gamers also have exclusive assess to House of Zhou and to The Macallan Whisky and Cigar Bar.

Sky Tower also the Forum, a 2,000 square meeting facility with boardrooms and a grand ballroom, as well as two restaurants -- the Waterside Restobar and Oasis Garden Café.

Solaire is also opening The Theatre, a 1,760-seat lyric theatre that will host plays, musicals, concerts, among others.
