German Moreno hospitalized due to mild stroke: report

MANILA - Veteran television host German Moreno, more popularly known as "Kuya Germs," was rushed to a hospital Friday after suffering from a mild stroke, a report said.

In an article published on PEP.ph on Saturday, Moreno's son, Federico, said that his father is currently resting at the Acute Stroke Care Unit of St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City.

He added that his father is doing "okay."

"We humbly ask for your prayers for his quick recovery. Pls pray for Papa," Federico was also quoted in saying.

Moreno, who is 71-years-old, is the host of the local late night television program "Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman."
