In a disclosure to the stock exchange, the firm said the name change will be reflected on the Philippine Stock Exchange’s trading system effective January 14, 2015.
The company said its current stock symbol “CMT” will be changed to “FNI.”
It added that it will not be recalling old stock certificates bearing its former name.
“Stock certificates with corporate name ‘Global Ferronickel Holdings Inc.’ will be issued only upon request by the stockholder(s). Hence, stock certificates under corporate names ‘Southeast Asia Cement Holdings, Inc.’ and ‘Global Ferronickel Holdings Inc.’ will be valid,” Seacem said in the disclosure.
