Señor Pollo’s branch in Makati City is offering a “Floyd Mayweather Chicken Platter” as it gets into the spirit of the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather bout in Las Vegas on May 2.
Priced at P999, the platter contains a sampler of the restaurant’s bestsellers – fried chicken, roasted chicken, hot wings, fries, tortilla chips with salsa and chimichurri.
In an article on the online magazine Spot.ph, Señor Pollo Philippines owner Daniel Mabanta shared why they are not serving a chicken platter named after Pacquiao.
“Manny’s no chicken,” he simply said.
Last week, Bunny Baker Café in Quezon City is seen serving lattes designed with the Filipino boxing champ’s face.
