Less than a day after it was upload on April 19, the video has already garnered over 100,000 views on YouTube. It was also being shared on Facebook and Twitter, garnering hundreds of smitten comments from netizens.
According to the video's description, Agas has been a resident ophthalmologist at St. Luke's Medical Center since 2013. A graduate of University of the Philippines Diliman, he obtained his medical degree from University of Sto. Tomas in 2011, according to a Philippine Daily Inquirer report.
A talent of Mercator Model Management, Agas has appeared in a number of print ads and features, including a page in the 2014 edition of Cosmopolitan Philippines' popular "Bachelors" catalogue released annually.
