Chris Brown finally allowed to leave PH

MANILA - Stranded Grammy-winning star Chris Brown was finally allowed to leave the Philippines on Friday after securing the necessary documents, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said.

The 26-year-old American had been stuck in the country for two days after an Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC)-affiliated company filed a fraud complaint seeking a million-dollar-plus refund after he skipped a New Year concert last year.

According to Bureau of Immigration Spokesperson Elaine Tan, Brown was granted an emigration clearance certificate, and he boarded his private jet around 6 p.m.

As of writing, his chartered plane had yet to leave a private hangar inside the General Aviation Area near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4.
