Adele's 'Hello' is fastest YouTube video to hit 1B views

Adele has reached another milestone with the music video of her comeback hit "Hello" reaching a billion views on YouTube in only 87 days.

This shattered the record set by "Gangnam Style," the breakout hit by South Korean star Psy whose music video took 158 days to hit a billion views.

So far only 17 videos can boast of over a billion views, with "Gangnam Style" way ahead of the rest.

But YouTube also pointed out that videos have been hitting a billion views at a faster rate in the last two years.

YouTube compared it to the case of Justin Bieber's music video for the song "Baby" which took over four years to reach a billion eyeballs.
