In the past week, the 25-year-old Eigenmann has been sharing shots of her trip paired with poignant quotes from the likes of acclaimed author Mark Twain.
In one particular photo, she wrote: "It's not where you go. It's how you feel for a moment in your life when you're a part of something, and if you find that moment, it lasts forever."
But aside from the contemplative words and the gorgeous scenery, fans took note that her former boyfriend, actor Jake Ejercito, also shared photos of a similar-looking island.
It has since fueled speculation, not only of them being together on a vacation, but also that of a possibility that the two might have rekindled their past romance.
In an interview last November, Eigenmann said that she considers Ejercito as the "father" of her daughter Ellie.
"When I was pregnant, Jake was there for me. He took care of us, so he's the father. That's my point lang... I mean, it's as simple as that," she said.
Eigenmann also claimed that she will never get back together with Ejercito, whom she broke up with two years back.
The actress, however, considers Ejercito to be her "first and greatest love."
She said: "And you can’t just forget that easily."
