Dreams do come true, especially now with the power of the Internet.
That is what this five-year-old Afghan boy proved after his photo, wearing a plastic Lionel Messi jersey went viral.
Now, he gets the real thing and it is signed by his football hero himself.
Murtaza Ahmadi even received a ball from Messi, who is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
Murtaza's father said his boy had asked for a shirt like Messi's but because they could not afford it he settled on just wearing a makeshift jersey.
On its website, the Afghanistan Football Federation said that it is now arranging a meeting between Murtaza and Messi.
