LeBron James learned a valuable lesson yesterday in the Cavaliers' 117-103 win over the visiting San Antonio Spurs in Cleveland.
Always check your shorts. Seriously, always check them.
James came out to start the game wearing Cleveland's standard yellow shorts. The only problem was that the Cavs were rocking their throwback kits that featured stripes.
LeBron had to change during one of the timeouts.
In James' defense, he only wore the uniforms that were put into his locker per Cindy Boren of the Washington Post.
"I put the uniform on that was in my locker, like every game, and they came to me and said I needed to change shorts during the timeout,” James said. “So I never realized that. I seen two: a yellow top, a yellow bottom. I know we got a couple different yellow uniforms now, so we’ll be checking from now on.”
The shorts, always check them before every game.
