MANILA -- Getting bored of the the traditional surfboard? A motorized
surfboard is now available in the market which promises to be a
game-changer in the popular water sports.
German company Lampuga has created a motorized surfboard that is run
by a 15-horsepower engine that can make the board go as fast as 47
kilometers per hour.
This 32-kilogram surfboard runs on electricity and has a battery life that may last up to 40 minutes.
The company also offers a high-end version of the motorized surfboard
that boasts its stylish looks and breath-taking speed of up to 54
kilometers per hour.
These motorized surfboards are just two of the many products showcased
at the The 8th Philippine Boatshow & Nautical Lifestyle Expo and
Conference held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay.
Apart from surfboards, a number of water sports equipment, such as
kayaks, paddles, and body boards, are also being showcased at the expo.

fishing equipment and water gears. Some of the country's top fishing
charters are also offering deals to both first-time and veteran
fishers.
Meanwhile, the event headlines a forum where marine and biodiversity
experts discuss their experiences and insights in the Philippine
waters.

Strategies & Assessments Group, Police Superintendent Rey Peralta of
PNP's Intelligence Division, Bea Jose of Palafox & Associates, and
