Leonard, Mills power Spurs to 3-2 lead over Grizzlies


Kawhi Leonard and Patty Mills combined for 48 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs past the Memphis Grizzlies, 116-103, in Game 5 of their best-of-seven series in the first round of the Western Conference Finals.

After dropping the last two games on the road, the Spurs regained their bearings at home to take a 3-2 lead in the series and move to within one game of advancing to the Western Conference semifinals.

Mike Conley led Memphis with 26 points and six assists.

The winner of the series will face the Houston Rockets.
