Tootsy Angara is seen posing with her husband in a white mini dress which she wore during her junior prom.
“Didn’t get to prepare and ended up wearing this Filipiniana Pitoy Moreno dress that I wore to my junior prom in 1991 (26 years ago). Ignore the fit as my 42-year-old body is definitely different from my 15-year-old self,” she wrote as the photo’s caption.
Angara went on to share that her old prom dress did not require any alterations.
Politicians and their respective partners have toned down their SONA outfits since last year as part of the government’s efforts to place more focus on President Rodrigo Duterte’s message to the Filipino people instead of pomp and pageantry.
Last year, Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres impressed her social media followers as she wore an old Barong Tagalog of her husband, Richard Gomez, in last year’s SONA.
