LONDON - Home-grown restaurant operator Jollibee on Wednesday shared on its social media account photos of Philippine government officials visiting its first London outlet.
Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez DPWH Secretary Mark Villar and Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade were among those photographed in front of Jollibee's first store in Earl's Court in UK.
The Cabinet officials are currently in the UK for a high-level economic briefing.
Jollibee Food Corp said its London outlet will open on Oct. 20.
British Ambassador to the Philippines Daniel Pruce said he was among the first lucky customers to get a preview of London's first Jollibee branch.
