MANILA -- FWD Insurance Corp said Tuesday it launched an app to allow plan holders to manage their policies on their mobile devices.
Tapp, available as a free download for Apple and Android devices, allows FWD plan holders to check their policy coverage, pay their premiums and track their investments.
"With Tapp, FWD is giving our customers round-the-clock support and empowering them to get information they need independently and conveniently," said FWD Life Insurance Philippines president and CEO Peter Grimes.
The Tapp app has a built-in live chat, giving plan holders an alternative to voice calls with multiple prompts, FWD said.
FWD Life earlier ventured into the affordable insurance space in partnership with TrueMoney. It also offers a first of its kind anti-terror coverage and dollar denominated insurance.
