MANILA – Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters reached a relationship milestone a month after passing on her Miss Universe crown.
The South African beauty queen is now engaged to football player Tim Tebow, as seen in the photos they shared on Instagram on Friday (Manila time).
“Any dreams I’ve ever had, you’ve exceeded them all! I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you!” Nel-Peters said.
Tebow, for his part, told his fiancée: “Thank you for saying yes and making me the happiest man in the world.”
“You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

According to a report from People.com, Tebow proposed to Nel-Peters at his family’s farm outside of Jacksonville, Florida.
It added that the beauty queen was given a 7.25-carat solitaire ring during the proposal, which was attended by the couple’s family and close friends.
