American singer Miley Cyrus and Australian actor Liam Hemsworth have split up less than a year after getting married, magazine People reported on Sunday.
A representative for Cyrus told People in a statement that the celebrity couple “have agreed to separate at this time.”
The representative, according to the report, added that Cyrus and Hemsworth “have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot last December 23 in a wedding attended by their families and closest friends at Cyrus' home in Franklin, Tennessee.
