A Filipina nursing worker and her boyfriend have pleaded guilty on misdemeanor charges in relation to a Snapchat video showing them taunting a 91-year old patient.
Bryan Cortez pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He received a sentence of 18 months supervision with 100 hours of community service.
His girlfriend Jamie Montesa pleaded guilty to attempted unauthorized recording and was sentenced to one year supervision with 50 hours of community service.
Along with the sentence, both were fired from the nursing home and ordered to stay away from the patient who has since transferred to another facility.
