MANILA--With his sweet voice and outgoing personality, 14-year-old Lukas Magallano is a step closer to his dreams.
In Sunday's episode of "The Voice Teens 2," Magallano, who has won a talent competition, made both Salonga and apl.de.ap turn for his cover of "Riptide."
"I need that energy. I like. You included the crowd, that's a good trait as an artist . . . I think I need you in my team," apl.de.ap told Magallano.
Salonga added: "You definitely have charm. That's obvious . . . You're just such a refreshing soul to see up on the stage."
Magallano eventually picked Salonga's team, saying he believes she can help her in the kind of training he needs.
