Miss Colombia appears in Vin Diesel's new 'xXx' movie
The first teaser trailer of Vin Diesel's "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" has been released, and it features the titular bad-ass government agent, gun-toting baddies, and Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez.
Gutierrez shared a clip of her brief appearance in the teaser trailer on her Instagram account, and expressed her excitement over her first Hollywood film project since the infamous Steve Harvey gaffe.
In December, the American television host erroneously announced Gutierrez as the winner of the Miss Universe pageant instead of Filipina beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach.
Days after, Gutierrez said the incident was "very humiliating" for her, but she still saw something good out of it. "I managed to make history which I think is more important than winning the Miss Universe title," she claimed.
Gutierrez's part in the action movie was first reported by celebrity gossip site TMZ. The report said the Colombian beauty queen will play Xander Cage's love interest. Citing sources, TMZ added that Gutierrez will be in six scenes and will have"“three pages of dialogue."
"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," the third film in the franchise, will begin hitting theaters in January 2017. The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Toni Collette and Nina Dobrev.

LOOK: Ethel Booba 'burns' Colombian effigy
MANILA - Comedienne Ethel Booba on Saturday took a page from the Colombians and "burned" her own effigy.
In her Twitter account, Booba posted a photo of her holding a lighted torch, with an effigy beside her.
The effigy featured the body of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, but with the face of the Colombian who burned an effigy of the Filipinas beauty queen for New Year's Eve.

In her caption, Booba said: "Kalma lang guys. Ako bahala. Babawi tayo sa sunugan ng effigy. Charot!"
The post came after a controversial video showing a Colombian burning an effigy of Wurtzbach.
The video, which was uploaded on Facebook by a certain Noider Almanza Barraza, has since been taken down. Barraza also posted an apology for what he did, explaining that it was part of their tradition.
He added that they traditionally burn effigies of things or events that caused controversy in the previous year, leaving them behind as the new year begins.
Barraza also said he did not intend to offend or hurt Filipinos, and that he is very sad and sorry for what happened.
His video came nearly two weeks after Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was erroneously crowned as Miss Universe 2015.
During the live telecast of the international pageant held December 20 in Las Vegas, American TV host and comedian Steve Harvey made a mistake of announcing Gutierrez as the winner instead of Wurtzbach.

Miss Colombia offered $1 million to do porn
MANILA - Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez has been offered up to $1 million to do porn movies for Vivid Entertainment, celebrity gossip website TMZ reported.
In a letter published by the website, Steven Hirsch, founder and co-CEO of Vivid Entertainment Inc., wrote to Gutierrez through the Miss Universe Organization to formally make his pitch for a porn movie.
"I have followed closely the debacle which you unfortunately were part of," Hirsch said in his introduction.
Gutierrez was involved in an announcement mix-up in the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday (Monday, Manila time), where she was mistakenly proclaimed as the winner.
The mix-up caused Gutierrez to be de-crowned in favor of the true winner, Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines.
Hirsch said he is offering a way for Gutierrez to benefit from her experience financially, as well as increasing her "fame way past that of the new Miss Universe."
Simply, Hirsch wants Gutierrez to do porn with Vivid Entertainment.
"I will pay you up to $1-million to both make movies for and represent Vivid Entertainment," Hirsch wrote to Gutierrez.
On top of that, Gutierrez will be made to choose her own partner in the sex tape.
"You will pick your partners, the type of sex you want to have and how many movies you ultimately appear in," Hirsch added.
Hirsch is also willing to replace the Miss Universe crown Gutierrez lost to Wurtzbach.
"In addition, we will commission the making of the first Vivid Girl crown for you and we believe it will be grander than anything Miss Philippines will ever wear," he said.
Hirsch made his pitch more convincing by citing Vanessa Williams, who, while stripped of her crown due to old nude photos, became extremely famous after the pageant.
"Today Vanessa is an accomplished actress, singer and author,” Hirsch wrote. “She has even admitted that the incident with Penthouse helped rather than hurt her career."
Hirsch promised that his offer will "more than make up for any fame and fortune (Miss Colombia) might get as Miss Universe."
Vivid Entertainment describes itself as a "world leader in adult entertainment." It was the company behind the distribution of sex tapes of celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Pamela Anderson and many others.

WATCH: Pia, Miss Colombia 2 weeks before pageant
The Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach and Colombia’s Ariadna Gutierrez didn’t see it coming.

It was an awkward moment for both contestants. But did you know that two weeks ago, Wurtzbach and Gutierrez were having fun together in a photo shoot?
In a video previously shared by Wurtzbach on her Instagram page, she and Gutierrez were seen getting close to each other and laughing together while posing for the camera.
Both beauty queens have accepted Harvey’s apology.
Wurtzbach considers her victory a “non-traditional crowning moment,” while Gutierrez stressed that she is happy despite the results, saying that “everything happens for a reason.”

WATCH: Host says sorry to Pia Wurtzbach over mix-up
Host Steve Harvey personally apologized to the Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach after he announced the wrong winner in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant held in Las Vegas on Sunday (Monday in Manila).
Harvey first proclaimed Colombia’s Ariadna Gutierrez as Miss Universe 2015, only to return on stage to say that he made a mistake.
It turned out that Wurtzbach, who was initially named first runner-up, is the real winner in the international pageant.
In a video posted by ABS-CBN News reporter Dyan Castillejo, Harvey is seen holding Wurtzbach’s hands as he apologized to the Filipina beauty queen.
“I apologize,” he said, to which Wurtzbach replied, “No, it’s fine.”
“I want it to be great, I wanted to fix it, I wanted to do it right. Thank you very much. You look absolutely gorgeous,” he added.
Before approaching Wurtzbach, Harvey already apologized to her and Gutierrez for the mix-up during the live broadcast, in the Miss Universe 2015 presser shortly after the program, and via his Twitter account.
In separate videos uploaded on the Miss Universe Facebook page, Wurtzbach and Gutierrez appeared positive despite the drama-filled incident.
“Everything happens for a reason, so I’m happy,” Gutierrez said.
For her part, Wurtzbach said, smiling: “It’s a very non-traditional crowning moment… It was very 2015.”
Wurtzbach is the Philippines’ third Miss Universe winner, along with Gloria Diaz in 1969 and Margie Moran in 1973.
