NBA: Raptors President Ujiri allegedly pushed sheriff's deputy
Toronto Raptors team president Masai Ujiri is being investigated amid allegations he pushed a sheriff's deputy and hit him in the face following the Raptors' championship-clinching Game 6 of the NBA Finals in Oakland, California, Thursday night.
Sheriff's officials said Ujiri was barred from going on the court at Oracle Arena because he didn't have proper credentials.
"Mr. Ujiri was unknown to the deputy at that time. He [the deputy] asked him for a credential," said Sgt. Ray Kelly, a spokesman for the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, told ESPN. "He shoved the deputy out of the way and walked toward the court. The deputy pushed back. The president came forward more with a more significant push and ended up striking the deputy in the face."
In a video posted by NBC Bay Area showing the end of the incident, Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is shown pulling Ujiri onto the court. The video does not show Ujiri, or anyone else, striking the officer.
Kelly told ESPN that the league had asked law enforcement to be firm in enforcing the requirement for credentials to access the court. If Ujiri had a credential, he didn't display it, Kelly said.
The sheriff's office has been in touch with the NBA but had not yet spoken to either Ujiri or other Raptors representatives, he added.
The incident is being investigated as a misdemeanor battery on an officer. When completed, the report will go to the district attorney's office for review.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday morning that the Washington Wizards intend to seek permission from the Raptors to speak to the 48-year-old Ujiri about running that team. Wojnarowski said an offer from the Wizards could be in the range of $10 million a year.

NBA: Warriors survive Blazers to take 2-0 series lead
Draymond Green lobbed to Kevon Looney for a go-ahead hoop with 52.9 seconds remaining, then converted a Stephen Curry assist into a layup of his own 40 seconds later, allowing the Golden State Warriors to outlast the Portland Trail Blazers for a 114-111 win Thursday night and 2-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.
The best-of-seven moves to Portland for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Monday, respectively. Warriors standout Kevin Durant, who missed the first two games with a strained right calf, already has been ruled out of both Portland games and Wednesday's Game 5 back in Oakland, if it's necessary.
After trailing by as many as 17 points in the third quarter and by eight with just 4:28 to play, the top-seeded Warriors scored 14 of the game's final 17 points to sweep their opening two home games against the West's third-seeded club.
Green's lob to Looney came after Seth Curry had put Portland up 111-110 with a 3-pointer with 1:02 to go.
After CJ McCollum misfired with a chance to counter Looney's hoop, the Warriors converted at the other end on Stephen Curry's pass to Green for a three-point lead with 12.3 seconds to play.
Needing a 3-pointer to tie, Damian Lillard had the ball stripped by Andre Iguodala while elevating for a desperation 28-foot attempt, sealing Golden State's win.
Stephen Curry had 37 points to lead the Warriors, who have lost just once in their last 11 playoff games against Portland. Klay Thompson added 24 points, Green 16, Looney 14 and Jordan Bell 11 for Golden State, which shot 51.2 percent. Green also contributed 10 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks in the win.
Lillard had a 23-point, 10-assist double-double to lead the Trail Blazers, who shot 44.2 percent. McCollum finished with 22 points, Seth Curry 16, and Maurice Harkless and Rodney Hood 12 apiece for Portland.
The Trail Blazers led 108-100 after a 3-pointer by Meyers Leonard with 4:28 left before the Warriors scored 10 straight, the final three on three free throws by Stephen Curry with 2:01 to go.
Seth Curry countered that with his 3-pointer, setting up the frantic finish.
Seemingly rejuvenated by getting a day off Wednesday -- after having been rushed into Game 1 in the wake of an emotional series win over Denver -- the Trail Blazers threatened to blow out the two-time defending champs, going up 67-50 in the first minute of the second half.
But the Warriors quickly rallied, getting 13 points from Thompson and 11 from Stephen Curry in a 37-15 flurry that turned a 17-point deficit into a five-point lead before the period's end.
The Trail Blazers led by as many as seven in the first quarter, but it was in the second period that they began dominating the game.
Portland led just 42-39 at the midpoint of the second quarter before Lillard and Seth Curry combined for 14 points in a 20-6 burst that opened a 17-point advantage late in the half.
Lillard, who was scoreless for the game's first 20 minutes, finished the half with 10. Portland led 65-50 at the break.

NBA: Curry, Thompson bury Blazers with treys, Warriors take series lead
OAKLAND, California -- The Golden State Warriors are so used to playing in the Western Conference finals, they were in no hurry to do it for a fifth consecutive year Tuesday night.
Then once they took the floor, they put that rest to good use against a weary opponent in Game 1.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson dominated their highly anticipated matchup with Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, combining for 12 three-pointers and 62 points in the Warriors' 116-94 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in the opener of the Western finals.
Game 2 in the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Thursday night, also on top-seeded Golden State's home court.
Curry finished with a game-high 36 points and Thompson added 26 for the Warriors, who won a second consecutive game without star forward Kevin Durant, out due to a bruised right calf.
Curry shot 9-for-15 on three-point attempts and Thompson 3-for-9. Even backup Quinn Cook got into the long-range act, mixing in two timely treys to quell the Trail Blazers' last threat, pushing Golden State a game up on an opponent it dominated 4-1 and 4-0 in the 2016 and 2017 playoffs, respectively.
"That was very poor (defensive) execution," Lillard said. "They were setting solid screens and coming off shooting practice shots. That's the last thing we need if we want to have any chance to beat this team."
Lillard, an Oakland native who arrived at the arena wearing an Athletics "0" jersey with his name on the back, shot just 4-for-12 en route to a team-high 19 points. McCollum added 17 points for the Trail Blazers, who were facing a fresh team that had enjoyed three days off after eliminating the Houston Rockets in Game 6 on the road Friday night.
"They had to go to a tough Game 7 in Denver (on Sunday) and a quick turnaround, so the schedule favored us," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "I thought we took advantage of the situation."
The Warriors used a 13-5 burst to open the second half to extend a nine-point halftime advantage to 67-50. Curry had three three-pointers in the run.
But Portland, which flew straight to Oakland after its Sunday win, refused to quit. Rodney Hood and Seth Curry drilled three-pointers in an 11-4 run that ended the period and gave the Trail Blazers hope at 77-71 entering the fourth.
The Warriors' lead was just 79-73 before Cook hit his two three-pointers, helping Golden State go back up by 14 with 7:31 to go, and the three-point discrepancy proved too much for the Trail Blazers to overcome.
"I thought the key stretch for us was the first five minutes of the fourth quarter," Kerr said. "Our bench came in, did a fantastic job getting the lead back up to about 12 or so before we went back to our starters. So great job by our bench."
Draymond Green complemented Curry and Thompson with a team-high 10 rebounds to go with 12 points for the Warriors, who shot 50 percent from the field and 51.5 percent (17-for-33) on 3-pointers.
The Warriors outscored the Trail Blazers, 51-21, on three-pointers.
"It's fun when everyone's running around, cutting, and we're whipping the ball around," Curry said. "That's when we're at our best."
Hood and Maurice Harkless had 17 points apiece, and Enes Kanter a game-high 16 rebounds with 10 points for the Trail Blazers, who were limited to 36.1 percent shooting overall and 25 percent (7-for-28) on treys.
The Trail Blazers also hurt themselves with 21 turnovers.
"When you turn the ball over and you don't shoot the ball well and don't finish around the basketball ..." Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts lamented. "It was a tough night offensively."
After having split the season series 2-2, the teams played on mostly even terms for the first 16 minutes, after which the Warriors managed just a two-point lead.
Consecutive hoops by reserve Jonas Jerebko, one a three-pointer, finally got the Warriors rolling before Curry took over. He poured in 11 points in the final 5:29 of the half, helping Golden State take a 54-45 lead into the intermission.
Curry had 19 of his 36 points in the half.
"Hopefully it's just one game," Stotts noted. "We've got to play better, particularly at the offensive end. But we've got to be better at both ends."

NBA: Warriors hold off Rockets despite Durant's injury
Draymond Green and Klay Thompson buried 3-pointers on consecutive possessions late in the game Wednesday night, allowing the Golden State Warriors to survive the loss of Kevin Durant and hold off the Houston Rockets 104-99 in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals in Oakland, Calif.
Top-seeded Golden State's third narrow win of the best-of-seven series puts the defending champions one victory away from a fifth straight trip to the West finals.
The Warriors will get their first opportunity to earn advancement in Game 6 of the series on Friday night in Houston. Game 7, if necessary, would be played Sunday in Oakland.
After the Rockets rallied from 20 down to take the lead late in the third quarter, and with Durant in the locker room for the final 14 minutes following a calf injury, the Warriors outfinished their fourth-seeded foe.
A 3-pointer by Eric Gordon had the Rockets down just 89-88 with 4:49 to play, and a free throw by James Harden kept Houston within 91-89 with 3:39 to go.
But Green then buried his 3-pointer, and after a Houston turnover, Thompson bombed in his trey to push the Golden State lead to 97-89 with 2:34 to go.
Houston got as close as three one more time, on a layup by Harden with 18.6 seconds left, before Thompson, after nearly throwing the ball away, dropped in an interior hoop for the clinching basket with 4.1 seconds left.
Durant's injury occurred innocently enough after he hit a jumper from the right side with 2:05 left in the third quarter.
He took a step toward the defensive end of the court before grimacing in pain and looking down at his lower right leg, leading to concerns he might have ruptured his Achilles.
However, the injury was later announced by the Warriors to be a strained right calf.
Thompson finished with 27 points, Stephen Curry 25 and Durant 22 for the Warriors, who continued a run of home wins by the teams in the series.
Andre Iguodala added 11 points, while Green had a brilliant all-around game before fouling out, complementing eight points with 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
Harden was the game's leading scorer with 31 points for the Rockets, who were both outshot by the Warriors from the field 45.9 percent to 41.8 percent and outscored on 3-pointers 39-36.
Gordon chipped in with 19 points for Houston, while P.J. Tucker had 13 to go with 10 rebounds.
Chris Paul and Iman Shumpert had 11 points apiece, and Houston's Clint Capela was the game's leading rebounder with 14 to go with six points.
The Warriors used a 17-0 burst late in the first half to go up 57-37, only to see the entire advantage disappear before the end of the third period, when Harden's floater gave Houston a 71-70 lead.

NBA: Warriors top Rockets as Curry, Harden play through injuries
Kevin Durant led a balanced attack with 29 points Tuesday night as the Golden State Warriors went up 2-0 in their Western Conference semifinal series against the Houston Rockets with a 115-109 win in Oakland, Calif.
Both Warriors star Stephen Curry and Rockets star James Harden sustained injuries in the contest.
After a three-day break, the West semifinals now shift to Houston on Saturday and Monday.
For the second game in a row, all five Warriors starters scored in double figures, including Curry, who dislocated the middle finger on his left hand early in the game and yet still managed 20 points.
Curry didn't seem bothered by the injury after returning quickly to the game, but the same couldn't be said of Harden, who sustained a scratched left eye shortly after Curry's mishap.
Harden finished with a game-high-tying 29 points but often was seen squinting and rubbing his eye after returning to action.
The Warriors took advantage of 18 offensive rebounds and 24 points off 18 Rockets turnovers to overcome Houston's 51-33 dominance in points scored off 3-pointers.
Durant, who had 35 points in Golden State's home win in Game 1 on Sunday, shot 9-for-22 from the field in Game 2.
Klay Thompson added 21 points and Andre Iguodala 16 for Golden State. Warriors forward Draymond Green had another outstanding all-around game with 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.
Chris Paul complemented Harden with 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Rockets, who went 3-0 at home in their first-round triumph over the Utah Jazz.
Eric Gordon had 15 points and Austin Rivers 14 for Houston, while Clint Capela (14 points, 10 rebounds) and PJ Tucker (13 points, 10 rebounds) collected double-doubles.
The Rockets outshot the Warriors 46.8 percent to 46.2 percent but took 14 fewer field-goal attempts.
Curry was the first to head to the locker room just 3:29 into the game, having jammed his finger into the basketball.
X-rays were negative, and Curry, with two fingers on his left hand taped together, was able to return to the game a little more than three minutes later.
Harden was inadvertently swiped in the left eye by Green just before the midpoint of the first quarter.
Harden, who had yet to score in the game, was gone for nearly a full quarter, returning to the game with 7:09 left in the half and Houston trailing 36-31.
The Rockets fell back by as many as 11 before Harden poured in 10 points in the final 4:27 of the half, helping Houston stay within arm's length at 58-49 at the break.

NBA: Durant helps Warriors dispatch Rockets
Kevin Durant scored nine of his team-high 35 points in the final 5:35 and Stephen Curry buried a back-breaking 3-pointer with 25.9 seconds remaining Sunday afternoon as the Golden State Warriors outlasted the Houston Rockets, 104-100, in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals in Oakland, California.
The second game in the best-of-seven between the top-seeded Warriors and fourth-seeded Rockets is slated for Tuesday night in Oakland.
In a tight game that featured poor 3-point shooting and turnovers, the Warriors found themselves in an 89-89 tie with six minutes remaining before Durant took charge.
His two free throws with 5:35 left gave Golden State the lead for good, and his three subsequent free throws and two field goals seemingly put the Warriors in command at 100-95 with just 1:26 to go.
But a three-point play by James Harden got Houston back within two, before Curry countered with his 3-pointer that proved to be decisive.
A dunk by Harden with 21.3 seconds to go kept the Rockets alive, and when Chris Paul stole the ball from Durant, Houston had a chance at a tie.
But Paul was pressured into an awkward pass and Eric Gordon stepped out of bounds while retrieving it, allowing the Warriors to hold on.
Paul thought he was fouled on the play and argued the non-call, for which he received a second technical foul and was ejected from the game with 4.4 seconds left.
Curry made the foul shot to complete the scoring.
Durant shot 12-for-15 from the line during his 35-point outing for Golden State, which won despite committing 20 turnovers.
Curry (18 points), Andre Iguodala (14), Draymond Green (14) and Klay Thompson (13) also scored in double figures for the Warriors, who are attempting to win a third consecutive NBA title.
Green also contributed nine rebounds and nine assists to the win.
Harden matched Durant's 35-point total, but shot just 4 of 16 on 3-pointers and was 9 of 28 overall. He made 13 of his 14 free throws.
Eric Gordon had 27 points and Paul 17 for the Rockets, who are playing the Warriors in the playoffs for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
The Rockets shot just 29.8 percent on 3-pointers, making 14 of 47.
The Warriors led 85-76 in the first minute of the fourth quarter after a pair of Shaun Livingston free throws, before the Rockets took advantage of Curry's foul trouble to draw even at 89.
Two free throws by Nene at the 6:00 mark finally got Houston even, setting the stage for the late heroics by Durant and Curry.
The Rockets took advantage of 13 Warriors turnovers to forge a 53-53 halftime tie.
Houston shot just 9 of 28 on 3-pointers in the half, but managed to stay even by shooting 12 of 13 on free throws, as compared to Golden State's 2 of 4, and getting off one more field-goal attempt despite the large foul-shot discrepancy.

NBA: Warriors open title defense by handling Clippers
Stephen Curry complemented a game-high 38 points with a career playoff-high 15 rebounds in a historic performance Saturday night as the Golden State Warriors opened defense of their NBA title with a 121-104 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in a volatile Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round series in Oakland, Calif.
Game 2 in the best-of-seven series is Monday night, with the Warriors, the top seed in the West, once again earning home-court advantage.
The matchup of familiar Pacific Division rivals featured the ejections of the Warriors' Kevin Durant and Clippers' Patrick Beverley, each of whom was nailed with a second technical foul for a verbal altercation near midcourt midway through the fourth quarter.
Curry's 38 points included 8-for-12 shooting on 3-pointers on a night when he passed Ray Allen (385) for the NBA all-time career playoff record. Curry finished the game with 386 career 3s.
Draymond Green provided a surprising offensive spark with 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting to go with seven rebounds and a team high-tying seven assists, helping Golden State win the opener of its first-round series for the sixth consecutive season.
Montrezl Harrell had 26 points and Lou Williams 25 with a game-high nine assists for the Clippers, who are the last Western Conference team to beat the Warriors in a playoff series.
That was in 2014, when they also lost Game 1 before winning four of the last six.
The Warriors led nearly wire-to-wire, but the Clippers remained competitive most of the way by taking advantage of 21 Golden State turnovers and enjoying a 65-22 advantage in points off the bench.
Curry's 38-point game was his 31st in postseason play with 30 or more. The Warriors have gone 28-3 in those games.
His previous high for rebounds in a playoff game was 10, done four times.
Durant contributed 23 points and three blocked shots in 32 minutes, while Klay Thompson added 12 points and DeMarcus Cousins, playing in his first NBA playoff game, collected nine points and nine rebounds before fouling out.
The Warriors shot 49.5 percent for the game and hit 14 of 30 3-point attempts.
Harrell's 26 points came on 11-for-15 shooting and Williams hit 11-for-21 for the Clippers, who shot 40.4 percent overall and 11-for-30 on 3s.

NBA: Warriors shoot past Jazz with 4th-quarter rally
Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry bombed in a pair of 3-pointers apiece in a late flurry Tuesday night that allowed the Golden State Warriors to overtake the Utah Jazz, 115-108, in a battle of two of the NBA's hottest teams in Oakland, California.
The win was the Warriors' 16th in their past 17 games and gave them a 2-1 edge over the Jazz in a season series that saw the teams split games in Salt Lake City.
Utah lost for just the fourth time in its past 16 games.
The Jazz led by as many as seven points early in the fourth quarter and retained a 93-88 advantage with 8:41 remaining before the Warriors got their high-powered offense in gear.
Thompson began a 20-4, game-swinging run with 3-point and 2-point hoops, the latter drawing Golden State even at 93-all with 7:50 remaining.
After hoops by DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant made it a 9-0 spree for the Warriors, Utah's Donovan Mitchell countered with a basket to narrow the Jazz's deficit to 97-95.
That's when Curry took charge, nailing back-to-back 3-pointers and then a layup in a personal 8-0 burst that opened a 10-point lead.
Ricky Rubio stopped the run with an interior hoop, but Thompson then connected from long range again, giving Golden State a 108-97 lead with just 3:51 remaining.
Durant (game-high 28 points), Curry (24) and Thompson (22) paced the Warriors, who wrap up their pre-All-Star break schedule at Portland on Wednesday night.
Cousins finished 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Andre Iguodala added 13 points for Golden State, which outshot Utah 49.4 percent to 47.1 percent from the floor.
Mitchell had a team-high 25 points for the Jazz, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.
Rudy Gobert recorded 13 points and 16 rebounds for Utah, while Rubio had 16 points, Derrick Favors and Royce O'Neale 13 apiece and Raul Neto 10.
The Jazz overcame a 14-point first quarter in which they made only five field goals to rally into the lead in the third period.
Utah trailed by as many as 11 in the first half but got within 47-44 by halftime and then took its first lead since the game's second minute on a 3-pointer by Mitchell with 4:39 left in the third quarter.
Utah's edge reached 91-84 on a pair of free throws by Neto with 9:51 remaining in the fourth quarter before the Warriors rallied.

NBA: Warriors stay hot, dominate short-handed Spurs
The Golden State Warriors made 24 of 25 shots bridging the second and third quarters Wednesday night, breaking open a close game en route to a 141-102 shellacking of the short-handed San Antonio Spurs in Oakland, Calif.
The Spurs elected to rest their top two scorers, LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan, in the second game of their eight-game "Rodeo Trip," with the second half of a back-to-back looming Thursday night against the Trail Blazers in Portland, Ore.
Facing a team that held them to 92 points in November, the Warriors led just 49-45 late in the second period before finishing the half 7-for-7, extending the advantage to 66-52 at halftime.
The two-time defending champs then made their first seven shots of the second half, a flurry they extended to 17 of 18 while turning the contest into a 114-81 blowout in the final minute of the third period.
The Warriors scored 49 points in the quarter, giving them 115 for three periods, the most ever allowed through three quarters in the Gregg Popovich era in San Antonio.
Klay Thompson had 26 points and Kevin Durant 23 for the Warriors, who won for the 13th time in their last 14 games.
Durant also found time in his 29 minutes to record team highs with eight rebounds and nine assists.
Stephen Curry had 19 points, DeMarcus Cousins 15, Andre Iguodala 11 and Kevon Looney 10 for Golden State, which accumulated 42 assists, the most by the Warriors this season.
Golden State shot 57.9 percent for the game and 16 of 34 on 3-pointers.
Pressed into his first start of the season with three regulars -- including Derrick White -- out of action, Patty Mills made four 3-pointers to lead the Spurs with 16 points.
Rudy Gay added 15 points, Davis Bertans 12, Dante Cunningham 11 and Bryn Forbes 10 for San Antonio, which began its long road excursion with a 127-112 loss at Sacramento on Monday.
The Spurs shot 43.2 percent, 12 of 32 on 3-pointers.
San Antonio hung within 53-50 on Mills' third 3-pointer of the first half with 3:04 remaining in the second period before the Warriors used three steals to ignite an 11-0 flurry.
Durant, Curry and Draymond Green had steals in the 1:38 spurt, with Iguodala benefiting with two dunks at the other end among five Golden State hoops.
The Warriors led 66-52 at the break, with Durant scoring 17 of his 23 and Thompson 16 of his 26.

Curry's flurry in 3rd leads Warriors over Pelicans
Stephen Curry led a comeback with seven 3-pointers in a 23-point third quarter Wednesday night as the Golden State Warriors rallied past the New Orleans Pelicans 147-140 in Oakland, Calif.
Curry finished with 41 points and Kevin Durant scored 30 as the Warriors, who have taken over the top spot in the Western Conference, capped an impressive sweep of Denver on the road and New Orleans at home on consecutive nights.
Anthony Davis had a 30-point, 18-rebound double-double with seven assists and Nikola Mirotic bombed in six 3-pointers in a 29-point effort for the Pelicans, who lost to the Warriors for the 22nd time in their last 24 regular-season meetings.
Playing for the third time on a five-game trip, the Pelicans used accurate 3-point shooting to go up by as many as 17 points in the first half and 16 in the third period before the Warriors rallied.
Curry's flurry helped produce a 44-point quarter that led to a 110-109 lead after three quarters, before the Warriors edged away on the strength of two late 3-pointers by Draymond Green.
Curry shot 9-for-17 on 3-pointers as the Warriors went 24-for-49 from beyond the arc, missing the NBA single-game record by two.
Green contributed four of their 24 3-pointers on a 17-point, 14-assist night.
Durant completed a double-double with a team-high 15 rebounds for Golden State, while Kevon Looney snatched 12 rebounds, including six on the offensive end, to complement seven points.
Klay Thompson (19 points), Shaun Livingston (13) and Andre Iguodala (13) also scored in double figures for the Warriors, who have won six in a row.
Mirotic's six 3-pointers contributed to the Pelicans' 19-for-37 performance from long distance. Julius Randle went 3-for-3 on 3's on his 23-point night.
Jrue Holiday chipped in with 25 points, E'Twaun Moore scored 17 and Elfrid Payton had a team-high 12 assists to go with seven points for New Orleans, which is just 6-18 on the road.
Both teams shot 48.0 percent from the field.

NBA:Thompson, Warriors blitz Bulls
Klay Thompson buried three consecutive 3-pointers in the first 70 seconds of the game Friday night as the Golden State Warriors ran away from the Chicago Bulls early on their way to a 146-109 victory in Oakland, California.
The win capped one of the highest-scoring, season-series sweeps in NBA history, with the Warriors having blown out the Bulls 149-124 in Chicago on Oct. 29.
No team had ever scored 149 and 146 points in a two-game season series against the Bulls in their franchise history.
Thompson, who broke the NBA record by making 14 3-pointers in the earlier meeting, hit 7 of 11 from beyond the arc in the rematch en route to a game-high 30 points.
He scored 52 points in the October game.
With Thompson leading the way, the Warriors scored 14 of the game's first 16 points and never looked back, rolling to a 31-8 lead and a 43-17 edge by the end of the first period.
Golden State was up 76-55 at halftime before coasting home for its third consecutive win.
Stephen Curry backed Thompson with 28 points and a game-high eight assists for the Warriors, and Kevin Durant added 22 points.
Curry's third of five 3-pointers in the game was the 2,283rd of his career, moving him past Jason Terry for third on the NBA all-time list behind Ray Allen (2,973) and Reggie Miller (2,560).
Thompson shot 10-for-18 overall, Curry 10-for-16 and Durant 7-for-11, leading the Warriors to a 57.6 percent shooting performance.
Backups Quinn Cook (15 points), Jordan Bell (13) and Marcus Derrickson (10) also scored in double figures for Golden State, which beat the Bulls for the fourth straight time.
Zach LaVine went for a team-high 29 points on 10-for-16 shooting for the Bulls, who were playing for the second time on a five-game Western trip.
Bobby Portis had 16 points, Antonio Blakeney 12 and Ryan Arcidiacono 10 for Chicago, which shot 44.9 percent. The Bulls lost their sixth game in a row.

Thompson helps Warriors crush Knicks
Klay Thompson connected on seven 3-pointers in a 43-point performance Tuesday night, helping the Golden State Warriors send the New York Knicks home after a 122-95 shellacking in Oakland, Calif.
Kevin Durant had 24 points and Stephen Curry complemented 14 points with a season-high 14 assists, enabling the Warriors to snap a three-game home losing streak.
Mario Hezonja scored a team-high 19 points for the Knicks, who completed a 14-day, six-game trip with a fifth loss, their second in two nights.
Thompson hit 18 of his 29 shots en route to his second 40-point game of the season. He had a season-best 52 at Chicago in October.
The 40-point-plus effort was the 12th of Thompson's career. The Warriors have won all 12 of those games.
Draymond Green was a second Warriors player with a double-double (11 rebounds, 10 assists), as Golden State completed its fifth straight season-series sweep of the Knicks.
New York hasn't beaten Golden State since March 2014.

Thompson's put-back lifts Warriors over Kings
Klay Thompson capped a 31-point performance with a put-back of his own miss with 5.8 seconds remaining Saturday night to give the Golden State Warriors a 117-116 victory over the Sacramento Kings in Oakland, Calif.
Kevin Durant poured in a game-high 44 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, to help the Warriors outrace their Northern California rivals down the stretch en route to their second home win in two nights.
The Warriors snapped a four-game losing streak with a 125-97 triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.
Durant hit two free throws to break a 113-113 tie with 1:27 remaining, before the Kings rallied to a 116-115 lead on one foul shot by Marvin Bagley III with 1:08 to go and two more from De'Aaron Fox with 26.6 seconds left.
On the Warriors' next trip down the floor, Durant misfired but the rebound was deflected to Thompson, whose driving attempt in traffic was off the mark.
Thompson, however, was the first to the carom off the backboard, dropping the ball back into the hoop for the winner.
After a timeout, Buddy Hield missed on a driving banker, after which the rebound became stuck between the rim and backboard, requiring a jump ball with 2.1 seconds to go.
The Kings, attempting to beat the Warriors for the third straight time in Oakland, regained possession of the ball but couldn't get up another shot.

Thunder hand Warriors 4th loss in row
Dennis Schroder scored 10 of his game-high 32 points in a second-quarter run that gave the Oklahoma City Thunder the lead for good Wednesday night in a 123-95 blowout of the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, Calif.
Russell Westbrook recorded a triple-double, Steven Adams and Jerami Grant had double-doubles, and Paul George poured in 25 points as the Thunder used balance to overcome a two-man show by Golden State's Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.
The only downside for Oklahoma City was an ugly injury sustained by Hamidou Diallo. The rookie landed awkwardly on his left leg midway through the fourth quarter and was taken off on a stretcher.
Durant had a 27-point, 14-rebound double-double, and Thompson also scored 27, but it wasn't enough to prevent Golden State from losing a fourth straight for the first time under head coach Steve Kerr.
The Warriors once again played without injured Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
Golden State led 31-29 in the second quarter before Schroder scored 10 straight Oklahoma City points to ignite a 23-6 spurt that opened a 52-37 lead with 3:53 left in the half.
The Warriors rallied within three in the third quarter and were down just 89-85 with 10:27 remaining in the game before Oklahoma City put another run together, this one 14 straight points to blow the game open.
Schroder had five points, including his fifth 3-pointer of the game, in the fourth-quarter burst.
Westbrook, who returned from a six-game absence in Monday's loss at Sacramento, complemented Schroder's scoring with 11 points, 11 rebounds and a game-high 13 assists, his first triple-double of the season.
Adams had 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Grant put up 14 points and 11 rebounds, helping the Thunder win for an 11th time in their past 13 games after an 0-4 start.
Durant shot 11-for-22 but just 1-for-5 on 3-pointers, and Thompson was 10-for-22 for Golden State, which beat Oklahoma City 108-100 at home on opening night.
Damion Lee was the only other Warrior to score in double figures with 13 points.
The Thunder outscored Golden State 39-21 on 3-pointers, with the Warriors making just 7 of 29 attempts.
