Grammy award winning band Slipknot bass player Paul Gray was found dead in his hotel room. His body was found by an employee at the TownePlace Suites in the early hours just before 11 a.m. of Monday, May 24. The sad news has been widely spread. Fans of the band showed great concern about this member of Slipknot. It was confirmed by a spokesperson of Roadrunner Records, Slipknot’s label, at MTV that the 38-year old musician had died but there were no reports yet as to what caused his sudden death.
Police are currently investigating the death, but have said there is no evidence of foul play. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
