MANILA - Smart Communications Inc. is offering a postpaid plan without monthly fee and lock-in period to avoid overspending.
In a statement, Kathy Carag, head of Smart Postpaid Business, said the Postpaid “Freedom” Plan is the only mobile postpaid plan with no fixed monthly service fee.
"Freedom gives subscribers the choice to use their postpaid plan the way they see fit. No fixed monthly service fees, no lock-ins and no complicated application process,” she said.
The Smart Postpaid Freedom Plan enables users to purchase service “buckets” such as Trio Talk 150, which offers 150 minutes of calls to Smart, Sun, and Talk ‘N Text subscribers good for 15 days for only P150; and All Text 200, which includes 2000 texts to all networks and 150MB of mobile surfing good for 30 days for only P200.
These buckets allow for a fully-customizable postpaid experience, which gives subscribers more value for their money. And with no MSF, Freedom subscribers may also use their plans on a per minute or a per text basis.
“Pay only for what you consume, it’s that simple. We encourage the public to try out the Smart Postpaid Freedom Plan and see for yourself how truly flexible, reliable, and convenient this service is,” Carag said.
“A credit limit also ensures you will not spend more than P600 and as a special treat, you get a 10 percent rebate on the first 6 months of your subscription. It’s like having the benefits of prepaid on postpaid, except that we’ve made it even better and more versatile,” she added.
