MANILA, Philippines – “Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited” winner Slater Young said he feels fortunate that he was given the chance to work with actress Bea Alonzo, whom he describes as “very nice.”
Young is part of the upcoming ABS-CBN series “A Beautiful Affair” topbilled by Alonzo and actor John Lloyd Cruz.
In an interview with Push.com.ph, Young said Alonzo was very supportive when they did a scene together.
“I’ve met the whole group. But I’ve done a scene with Bea. It was nerve-wracking. Sobrang kinakabahan ako. Buti na lang ang bait niya. It was a crying scene pero she took the time to make me feel comfortable,” he said.
While Young has yet to be given a starring role in his own project, Young said he is glad that he has a strong group of supporters behind him.
“Oo, thankful ako talaga. Sobrang sipag ng supporters ko. Blessed lang talaga,” he said.
Asked if he wants to veer away from the good-boy image in his upcoming projects, Young said: “Alam mo naman na it’s me talaga. Pero siyempre tao lang din tayo. Nagkakamali pa minsan. I don’t know what to expect. Medyo pressured din.”
