MANILA, Philippines -- Empress Schuck is turning a page as an actress with her debut appearance in the Philippine edition of men's magazine FHM.
The Kapamilya actress, who turned 20 in February, was introduced as the local publication's cover girl on Friday via its official website.
Photographed by Ronnie Salvacion, Schuck is seen wearing a two-piece swimwear while half-submerged in a pool.
"I'm happy kasi meron akong nagawang bago para sa sarili at career ko," the former child star was quoted as saying by FHM in its official website.
"I want everyone to realize that I'm no longer a child. It's also for everyone to understand na posing for FHM doesn't mean na magse-sexy ka na or you are changing your image sa public. I took it as a challenge to show everyone na you can still be wholesome while showing skin," she said.
In other preview images released online by FHM (seen above), Schuck is seen posing along a coastline in a number of swimsuits.
Before the Kapamilya actress, the men's magazine also celebrated the debut appearance actress Marian Rivera on FHM.
