But Dee was quick to say that he is not courting Cojuangco. "Kasi sabi ko ayaw ko pumunta ng solo," he explained.
Dee said he asked Barretto if he can invite her daughter to the annual event of the talent management arm of ABS-CBN. "Short notice buti pumayag," he said.
Asked if their "date" could be start of something special, the young actor said, "Let's not go to that. Friends muna."
For her part, Cojuangco admitted she was shocked when Dee invited her to the much-awaited celebrity event.
Cojuangco is set to leave for London next week to continue her studies.
