MANILA – In a very rare opportunity, international singer Alicia Keys did a duet of her hit song “If I Ain’t Got You” with the Philippines' own Regine Velasquez.
During Keys’ “Set The World On Fire” concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Monday, fans were surprised when Velasquez appeared onstage as the Grammy-winning artist was singing her original song.
"The Voice of the Philippines" coach has been in the country for a while now helping the survivors of super typhoon “Yolanda.”
Just like the ‘Black Eyed Peas’ rapper, Keys also visited typhoon survivors at the Villamor Airbase, where she gave out coloring books and crayons to children.
On Tuesday, Keys said on Twitter that she is grateful to have come to the Philippines and spent time with some of "the most resilient and beautiful spirits she has ever met."
She later tweeted: "Today was the next level. Thank you for your inspiration."
