Regine thanks Alicia Keys for 'fan moment'

MANILA – Regine Velasquez took to social media to thank Grammy-winning artist Alicia Keys for the opportunity to share the stage with her during the Manila leg of the “Set the World on Fire” concert.

In her Instagram account on Monday night, Velasquez posted two short clips of her duet with Keys where they performed “If I Ain’t Got You.”

That production number was a surprise to concert-goers as it was unannounced that Velasquez will be one of the international singer’s guests.

The accompanying caption of Velasquez’s posts was: “Thank you Ms Alicia Keys for having me in your show.”

“Eh yung napapasayaw ako. we love you @aliciakeyswhoooohoooo!!!!” the Filipino singer added.
She then posted her picture with Keys which appeared to be taken before the show.

Calling herself an Alicia Keys fan, Velasquez said: “With @aliciakeys. Ngayon lang ako nakakilala ng taong mas maliit ang face kesa sakin. faney moment lang. Thank you again Ms Alicia Keys. To God be the Glory.”

Aside from her number with Velasquez, Keys also surprised the audience with a performance with apl.de.ap, who hails from Pampanga.

The two sang The Black Eyed Peas' “Where is the Love.”
