Pacers overcome Pistons in overtime



Pacers 112, Pistons 104 (overtime)

Paul George poured in 30 points and the Indiana Pacers erased a 25-point deficit to defeat the Detroit Pistons 112-104 in overtime.

Evan Turner supplied 20 points for Indiana (49-17), who won their third straight after a four-game losing streak. Andrew Bynum, playing in just his second game with the team, added 15 points and nine rebounds.

Pacers forward David West, who had 15 points, scored the first points of overtime on a jump shot and hit two more to make it 108-102. Indiana held on from there to go 4-0 in overtime games this season.

Josh Smith top scored for Detroit (25-41), who have lost 12 of their last 15, with 23 points.

Knicks 115, Bucks 94

Thanks to stellar shooting and aggressive team rebounding, the New York Knicks jumped all over the Milwaukee Bucks for a 115-94 win.

The Knicks (27-40) received 28 of their 41 rebounds from their starters as they helped eliminate second-chance shots for the Bucks (13-53) and are riding a season-high six-game winning streak.

New York are inching closer to reaching the eighth and final seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs race.

The Knicks were led by Carmelo Anthony's game-high 23 points while J.R. Smith and Amar'e Stoudemire contributed 15 points apiece.

Hawks 97, Nuggets 92
Pero Antic hit an off-balance three-pointer from the corner as the shot clock expired to spark the Atlanta Hawks to a 97-92 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Antic finished with 16 points, one shy of his career best, to help prevent Atlanta from blowing a 21-point second-half lead.

Atlanta (29-35) were led by forward Paul Millsap with 23 points and 10 rebounds, his 21st double-double of the year.

Denver (29-37) were led by Kenneth Faried with 25 points and seven rebounds.
