Last December, Padilla and Bernardo were named Best Foreign Actor and Best Foreign Actress, respectively, in the annual awards show spearheaded by Vietnam's Today TV, one of the country's largest television networks.
Padilla and Bernardo were recognized for their roles in the hit 2013 romantic comedy series "Got To Believe." According to ABS-CBN, the series proved to be a hit with Vietnamese viewers as it posted strong primetime ratings during its run last year.
Kapamilya stars Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria also won the same awards for their roles in "Be Careful with My Heart." The winners were based on public votes.
