MANILA – The trailer for the romantic drama “A Star is Born” featuring the team up of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga has finally been released.
One of the highlights of the two-minute clip is their duet of “The Shallow.”
The movie tells the love story of a seasoned musician, Jackson Maine (Cooper), who discovers and falls in love with struggling artist Ally (Gaga).
Just when Ally was about to give up on her dream of making a name for herself as a singer, Jackson coaxes her into the spotlight. But as Ally’s career takes off, Jackson has to fight his own internal demons.
“A Star is Born” marks the directorial debut of Cooper. It is also Gaga’s first lead role in a major motion picture.
The movie is slated to be released in Philippine cinemas on October 10.
