LOOK: Julia Barretto goes topless in birthday post

MANILA -- Actress Julia Barretto surprised her followers and fans as she posted photos showing her topless as she turned 23 on Tuesday, March 10.

"In this chapter in my life, I am FREE. Free to speak. Free to act. Free to feel. Free to love. Because this time, I am choosing ME," she wrote in the caption.

Last year, Barretto made headlines after she got involved in the controversial breakup of fellow Star Magic talents Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.

Anderson has already denied that Barretto was involved in his split with Alonzo.

Barretto, who just finished iWant series "I Am U" with Tony Labrusca, is set to star in a new ABS-CBN television drama.

WATCH: Alice Dixson shares brithday wish

MANILA - At 47 years old, Alice Dixson is still hoping to have a baby.

This is actually the actress's birthday wish, which she mentioned to ABS-CBN reporter Mario Dumaual in a short video posted on Instagram.


"Honestly, I want to have a baby pa sana," said Dixson, who was married for 13 years to Ronnie Miranda but didn't have a child. They filed for divorce in 2012.

Although her birthday is July 28, she had a party last Monday, which was attended by showbiz friends Rufa Mae Quinto, Gloria Diaz, Ruffa Gutierrez, Amy Austria and couple Maricel and Anthony Pangilinan.
