Glenn Beck has organized a major rally and apparently a controlled public event for the Washington Mall that he calls "Restoring Honor." Glenn Beck said that the rally would "restore the civil rights movement" and welcomed the crowds along the Mall.
Beck says that the event is nonpolitical. The aim of the rally is to honor American troops. He also said its now time to concentrate on the good aspects and things in America.
Guest spokesperson is former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and other speakers. Sara palin spoke as the mother of someone in the military, telling stories of military heroism rather giving a political speech.
